The Story of Edgar Cayce: There is a River | Thomas Sugrue | 1973 | Pre-Owned
Product Details
The only biography of Cayce to be released in his lifetime, There Is A River, was a surprise success, growing membership in the early Association for Research and Enlightenment (ARE), Cayce’s still-extant group based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and bringing him into national prominence ahead of his death in 1945.
The author, Thomas Sugrue, originally contacted the Cayce family in the hope of debunking their claims of psychic communications and healings, only to become a convert, living with the family from 1939 to 1941 and conducting as many as 76 readings with Edgar Cayce while writing this book.
Good condition, the book pictured in this listing is the book you will receive.
